Elisa Carbonaro is an articling student in our Edmonton office. Elisa was inspired to go into law school after working in a non-profit and witnessing how the law intersects and impacts daily life. She is passionate about approaching legal issues from various angles and critically analyzing different paths to find solutions.
Prior to starting at Field Law, Elisa clerked at the Alberta Court of Appeal. During law school, she furthered her analytical and writing skills through publishing and presenting papers at the Canadian Law Student conference as well as working as a research assistant for several professors. She served as an Editorial Board Member for the Alberta Law Review, volunteered with Women’s Law Forum, and Student Legal Service. Elisa was awarded the Judges’ Bronze Medal for graduating third overall.
Outside the Office
Outside of the office Elisa enjoys running, cycling, cross-country skiing, and travelling.
