We have an opening for a Corporate Service Clerk supporting our Yellowknife office, working remotely from our Edmonton office. The Corporate Service clerk is an essential role in assisting professionals in their day-to-day work.

Duties + Responsibilities
- Preparation of Annual Return packages for Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Yukon
- Manually preparing documentation relating to:
- Business names renewals (Northwest Territories and Yukon);
- Notices of Change of Directors (extra-territorial, domestic);
- Notices of Change of Registered Office (extra-territorial, domestic);
- Notices of Change of Head Office (extra-territorial).
- Familiar with Industry Canada – Corporations Branch filings and searches.
- Corporate searches - Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon, Federal and other jurisdictions.
- ALF database entry and updates, etc.
- Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Yukon Society or Non-Profit entity maintenance.
- Reminders on outstanding matters including outstanding accounts.
- Opening files.
- Interaction and servicing lawyers, internal staff, and clients.
Qualifications + Skills
- Legal Assistant/Paralegal Diploma or related education.
- 3+ years’ experience working in a law firm or similar professional setting.
- Knowledge of ALF is preferred.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent follow-up and bring-forward skills.
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and handle high pressure deadlines.
