Amanda Baker
Amanda Baker has built a strong litigation practice focused on insurance law, with a growing emphasis on estate litigation. Since joining Field Law in 2021, she has become a trusted advisor to insurers on complex matters, including personal injury claims, fire losses, commercial disputes, and professional negligence. Her ability to navigate high-stakes litigation reflects her strategic and forward-thinking approach.
Angela Beierbach
Angela Beierbach is a versatile litigator whose practice spans general litigation, labour and employment law, and insurance law. She represents clients in a wide range of matters, including commercial disputes, shareholder conflicts, labour arbitrations, and human rights tribunal hearings. Her ability to excel across a range of advocacy areas and her dedication to client service have made her an important part of multiple practice groups at the firm.
Leanne Monsma
Leanne Monsma brings extensive experience in professional regulation and labour and employment law, advising post-secondary institutions and regulatory bodies. Her practice focuses on complex governance, regulatory, and workplace matters, where she provides strategic and practical guidance to institutional clients. Leanne’s depth of experience strengthens the firm’s longstanding relationships with several significant long-term clients.
Renée Gilead
Renée Gilead is a corporate and commercial lawyer with broad experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring and reorganizations, and governance matters. She works closely with clients at all stages of growth, providing pragmatic legal advice that supports long-term business objectives. In addition to her client work, Renée plays a leadership role within the firm, including chairing the firm’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee.
