Amanda Baker

Amanda Baker is a Calgary-based Partner whose practice focuses on civil litigation, particularly estate litigation and insurance law. With a strong commitment to serving clients with integrity, professionalism and dedication, Amanda has established a reputation for delivering exceptional legal advice and achieving favourable outcomes for clients.

Amanda approaches her insurance practice with a deep understanding of insurance law principles. She represents clients in insurance disputes, coverage issues and claims resolution. She is experienced in automobile claims, occupiers’ liability, commercial general liability and directors and officers liability matters, working to achieve fair results for her clients.

Amanda has appeared before all levels of court in Alberta, achieving notable success in representing clients in complex legal matters before the Alberta Court of King’s Bench, the Alberta Court of Appeal and the Alberta Court of Justice. She is committed to staying current with the latest developments in the legal field to provide clients with informed and effective representation.

Before law school, Amanda attended North Carolina State University on a NCAA Division I golf scholarship, where she earned her degree in business and minored in law and justice. At North Carolina State University, Amanda was a National Academic All-American, and her golf team was consistently ranked in the top 20 nationally. Outside of school, Amanda has competed for her province and country at national and international golf championships.
