Digital Marketing Specialist - Calgary or Edmonton- 
        Help shape Field Law’s voice and digital presence across all platforms. Field Law is looking for a talented Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Business Development + Marketing (BDM) team. In this role, you will drive and develop creative, engaging, and results-driven digital content that strengthens our brand, supports business development goals, and connects with our audiences in meaningful ways. From managing our social media channels to crafting compelling web content and coordinating email campaigns, you’ll ensure that Field Law’s digital communications are consistent, strategic, and aligned with our values. Duties + ResponsibilitiesDigital Content Creation + Management - Develop, write, edit, and publish engaging content for Field Law’s website, intranet, and digital campaigns.
- Manage the firm’s social media presence, including content planning, posting, monitoring, and engagement.
- Collaborate with lawyers, practice groups, and business development team members to translate legal knowledge into audience-friendly digital content.
- Ensure brand voice, tone, and style are consistent across all platforms.
 Campaign Development + Analytics - Plan and execute targeted digital campaigns to promote events, publications, sponsorships, and community initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve the above while ensuring campaigns are aligned with marketing goals.
- Monitor and measure results for website, social media, and email campaigns using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and other tools.
- Provide monthly digital metrics reports to the Director of Business Development + Marketing.
 Website + Search Engine Optimization - Maintain and update Field Law’s website, ensuring content accuracy, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
- Improve search engine results through SEO tactics including keyword research technical SEO improvements and metadata updates.
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to enhance user experience and site performance.
- Track and report on search performance and identify areas for improvement.
 Collaboration + Support - Partner with the Business Development + Marketing team on integrated campaigns and initiatives.
- Provide guidance and training to lawyers and staff on digital best practices, including LinkedIn and website bio-optimization, content sharing and content enhancements.
- Support the development of digital assets such as graphics, videos, and presentations.
 Qualifications + Skills- Degree or Diploma in Communications, Digital Marketing, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or digital communications.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, CMS (e.g. WordPress), email campaign services, Google Analytics, SEO tools and best practices.
- Experienced in working with a content management system(s) such as Wordpress, Sitefinity, Adobe, Sitecore or other (i.e. proprietary and/or open source).
- Working knowledge of HTML, understanding of CSS, proficient with Photoshop and knowledgeable of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong comfort with data management and able to gather and review data to identify trends and insights for internal reporting and site improvement purposes.
- Skill and comfort with writing and editing content and able to write short form content.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and able multi-task and adapt to changing priorities while delivering quality work and service.
- Collaborative, positive and team oriented person who will be empowered to lead our digital marketing efforts and be a key part of our BD + Marketing Team.

Business Development Specialist - Calgary or Edmonton- 
        Help drive Field Law’s growth through strategic business development and competitive pursuits. Field Law is seeking a highly organized, client-focused Business Development Specialist who will work with the Business Development + Marketing Director and Partners on a broad range of initiatives that support revenue generation, marketing, and visibility efforts for practice, industry groups and the firm. You will assist in strategic planning and tactical execution and complete projects, plans and research and analysis in support of business plan objectives. - Collaborate with lawyers and internal stakeholders to gather information, develop strategy, and craft tailored, persuasive content.
- Ensure proposals meet deadlines, compliance requirements, and brand standards.
- Maintain and update a library of proposal content, lawyer bios, case studies, and key firm information.
 Industry + Client Recognition - Drive market recognition efforts, including overseeing the development of legal directory, law firm rankings and awards submissions (Chambers, Best Lawyers, Lexpert, Benchmark, Canadian Lawyer).
- Collaborate with lawyers to gather information, develop strategy, and craft tailored, persuasive content for ranking and client award submissions.
- Maintain the firm’s experience database and rankings/awards tracker and perform queries and generate content for reports, submissions and proposals as needed.
- Devise and implement business development processes that helps the firm systematically and effectively deliver the above while leveraging tools, content and resources to improve results.
 Team Collaboration + Support - Support practice groups with business development planning, tracking progress toward goals and reporting on results.
- Act in conjunction with Marketing, to identify and promote key deals, matters, client news and practice highlights both internally and externally.
- Act in conjunction with Marketing, to propose and support marketing communications-related activities, such as website updates, improvements to lawyer bios and online profiles including LinkedIn.
- Act in conjunction with Library, to conduct market and client research to identify business development and client pursuit opportunities and industry trends.
 Collaboration + Relationship Building - Partner with the Director, Business Development + Marketing to align client development and bid opportunities with broader firm growth strategies.
- Work closely with lawyers to deepen client relationships and expand referral networks.
- Coordinate cross-office BD initiatives to support Field Law’s presence in Alberta and Northern Canada.
 Qualifications + Skills- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in business development or marketing in a professional services environment (legal industry experience is an asset).
- Demonstrated experience managing RFP processes and submissions.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable working with databases and CRM systems.

Resource Assistant - Calgary- 
        Our Calgary office has an immediate opening for a Resource Assistant. Reporting directly to the Manager, Legal Support Services; this is a legal assistant role where you will work with a variety of our firm’s team members and will be responsible for the general support of multiple practices. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-sufficient, and has high attention to detail. Duties + Responsibilities- Use word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software to prepare correspondence and legal documents in support of corporate transactions.
- Answer the telephone, schedule appointments, questionings, and meetings, greet visitors and handle administrative and business details.
- Transcribe correspondence and legal documents from digital recordings or handwritten notes.
- Manage lawyers’ diaries and update electronic calendar.
- Review correspondence (including faxes and e-mail), co-ordinate the flow of information, update calendar and respond to routine inquiries.
- Review and proofread outgoing documents to ensure they are correct and comply with legal procedures.
- Access and use online legal resources.
- Operate office equipment such as voice mail messaging systems, photocopying machines, and computer scanning equipment.
- Handle routine accounting procedures: billing, cheque deposits/requests, time entry, etc.
- Perform general office duties as required.
 Qualifications + Skills- Over three years of hands-on experience as a legal assistant, with a strong focus on litigation, wills and estates, insurance, and corporate law.
- Holds a recognized 2-year Legal Assistant Diploma, demonstrating a solid foundation in legal principles and practices.
- Highly motivated and eager to expand knowledge and grow within the legal profession.
- Proactive and self-sufficient, capable of taking the initiative to resolve issues independently while contributing effectively to team efforts.
