Farha Salim, TEP

Farha Salim is the firm's managing partner and is based in the Calgary office. Her practice focuses on personal estate and business succession planning. She has extensive experience representing executors, estate administrators, beneficiaries and trustees in complex estates and trusts matters, including in litigation, drafting and advising on trust structures, wealth transfer strategies, legacy and multi-generational planning, and estate planning, including complex planning for high-net-worth families and individuals.

Farha also represents charitable organizations as estate beneficiaries and works with clients on planned giving strategies to support meaningful charitable initiatives and causes. She believes in approachability to conduct a sincere and transparent practice.

Farha is the former Chair of the firm’s Wills, Estates + Trusts practice group at Field. She is also the former Chair of each of the Wills and Trusts, Charities and Elder Law Sections of the Canadian Bar Association (Alberta South). Farha is a member of the Society of Estates and Trusts Practitioners.

Farha has been recognized in The Best LawyersTM in Canada under the Trusts and Estates category for over ten years and was named “Lawyer of the Year – Calgary” in both 2022 and 2024 for the same category. Farha has also been ranked in Chambers High Net Worth – Private Wealth Law category and is a Lexpert-ranked lawyer in the field of Trusts and Estates.
