Michael Doerksen

Michael Doerksen is a Calgary-based research lawyer with a practice focused on insurance law, particularly complex insurance coverage issues. His work includes automobile liability, municipal and general liability, director and officer liability, professional errors and omissions coverage, casualty coverage and cargo and transportation coverage. His experience also includes a broad range of commercial disputes ranging from property development matters to construction disputes and contract interpretation.

Michael is experienced in preparing written submissions in cases before the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court, the Court of King's Bench of Alberta, the Alberta Court of Appeal, the British Columbia Supreme Court and various administrative tribunals in Alberta.
