Megan's path to law began in social science research. That work focused on identifying what people needed, and over time she came to see law as a practical tool for helping meet those needs.
She is drawn to advocacy in its many forms, and the variety of that work is what she finds most rewarding about her practice.
Megan connects easily with people from different walks of life, and brings that to her work with clients and colleagues at Field Law.

Get to Know Megan
Outside the office, Megan is an avid gardener and spends many evenings tending to her garden beds. She also enjoys trying new fitness classes around the city. For the past decade, she has paddled the Athabasca River from Hinton to Whitecourt, a 166-kilometre route, every summer. That tradition even inspired her to turn a retired canoe into a fresh-cut flower bed.
