Kali Olsen is a Student-at-Law in our Calgary office. She was drawn to law by a desire to help people through challenging situations, and she is energized by problem-solving, critical thinking, and continuous learning. She approaches each situation with empathy and an open mind.
Before and during law school, Kali held roles as a legal assistant at Parlee McLaws and in education and client-service positions at the Law Society of Alberta, and she worked in legal services at the University of Calgary. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2026, following a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary and a Legal Assistant Diploma from SAIT.
Community involvement has been a constant throughout her path to law. She has served as a File Chair with the Calgary Youth Justice Society since 2019 and volunteered extensively through Pro Bono Students Canada, including as Project Lead for its Senior Wills Clinic, and as a panel member on the University Appeals Committee.
Outside the office, Kali enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. She plays ringette, soccer, and pickleball, and she also enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time with her dog.
