Overview
Catherine Ford is a Student-at-Law in our Edmonton office. She sees the practice of law as fundamentally about helping people solve problems and reach resolutions, and she is drawn to the work of complex problem-solving, whether that means advocacy or settling in to write.
Catherine brings a strong research background to her work, developed through graduate study and a clerkship at the Court of King's Bench of Alberta. She won the Wilson Moot in 2024 and has published in both linguistics and law.

Cat is active in the Edmonton rugby community and occasionally still hits the pitch. She also enjoys trying new sports, reading, gardening and spending time with her dog and two cats.
