Overview
Ben Folarin is a lawyer in our Calgary office focusing on Litigation, Labour + Employment, and Insurance. He received his JD from the University of Victoria in 2018 and was called to the BC bar in 2020 and Alberta bar in 2026.
Benjamin is drawn to the investigative side of disputes: determining what happened and fitting the pieces together to build his clients' cases. He works quickly through large volumes of document production to identify the issues that matter and decide how to address them. Clients rely on him to carry a file from pleadings through trial, to advise on when to press a position and when to settle, and to make complex issues clear and understandable.
Benjamin brings substantial trial experience to his practice, having appeared as counsel in matters spanning personal injury, breach of contract, and disputes over employee benefit entitlements. His work has taken him through trials at both the Supreme Court and Provincial Court levels.

Get to Know Ben
Outside the office, Benjamin spends time with his two beagles at the dog park and is an avid traveller, having visited 34 countries and 97 cities and lived in both Thailand and the Netherlands. In the summer, Benjamin is often out on his road bike, and he enjoys the occasional adrenaline rush, he has been skydiving and hang gliding in the Swiss Alps.
