Peter Gibson

Peter Gibson is an Edmonton-based Partner whose practice focuses on insurance litigation and coverage disputes. He represents insurers and insureds in insurance coverage, defence and subrogation matters involving a range of policies, including automobile, commercial general liability, professional errors and omissions and disability insurance.

Peter has extensive litigation experience in insurance coverage disputes, defence claims and subrogated matters. He has appeared at trials and applications before the courts of Alberta, the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Saskatchewan, as well as before the Court of Appeal of Alberta, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut and the Supreme Court of Canada.

Peter also has significant experience in alternative dispute resolution, helping clients resolve complex insurance and commercial disputes through judicial mediation, private mediation and arbitration.
