Overview
Kimberly Precht is an Edmonton-based lawyer whose practice focuses on professional regulation, administrative law and employment law. Kimberly advises and represents professional regulatory organizations, other statutory bodies and private organizations.
Kimberly is experienced in a broad range of matters, including:
- Registration, discipline and governance matters in professional regulation and administrative law
- Supporting statutory decision-makers as independent legal counsel
- Developing and delivering training to decision-makers and regulatory staff
- Employment standards, workplace policies and employment contracts
- Assisting organizations, employers and individuals with human rights matters

Get to Know
Get to Know Kimberly
Before studying law, Kimberly worked on a vegetable farm, at a grocery store, as a river guide, and as a performer and coach with a local circus company. She also lived and worked in Cairo, Egypt, for a year when she was 18. Kimberly remains actively involved with Edmonton’s Firefly Theatre and Circus. She has an abiding interest in legal issues related to water and land use, which is perhaps unsurprising given how much Kimberly enjoys walking, running, biking, and canoeing through Edmonton's river valley and the province's wild places.
