Jason McCulloch

Jason McCulloch is an Edmonton real estate lawyer whose practice focuses on residential real estate transactions. He also advises clients on general wills and estate matters.

Jason has completed thousands of real estate transactions over nearly three decades. He has assisted a broad range of clients, including first-time homebuyers, new Canadians, experienced investors and clients purchasing their dream homes. Jason values the trust he has earned from fellow lawyers, many of whom refer clients to him for complex real estate matters.

Jason understands that real estate transactions are often among the most significant, stressful and emotional experiences people face. He is committed to delivering exceptional client service through clear communication, practical guidance and thorough written documentation so clients feel informed, comfortable and confident throughout the process.

Jason is committed to legal education and has contributed to the legal community in a variety of roles. He teaches Bar Admission Courses in Real Estate and serves as a section co-chair of the Real Estate section with the Canadian Bar Association. He has also instructed real estate agents through courses for the Edmonton Real Estate Board. Additionally, Jason has been actively involved with the Legal Education Society of Alberta, contributing as a panelist and chair for numerous courses, including recurring appearances as a speaker at the LESA Refresher on Real Estate and chairing the 2026 event. Lastly, Jason is a sessional instructor at MacEwan University teaching real estate law to business and paralegal students.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Jason is deeply engaged in volunteer work within his community. From planning functions to serving food and drink, participating in neighborhood clean-up initiatives, and even donning the Easter Bunny suit for a clandestine egg-hiding mission, Jason's contributions extend far beyond the legal realm.

Jason’s passion for the arts is evident through his involvement in local theater, including performances in a fundraiser variety show and key productions such as Law Day and Players De Novo which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Victoria School of the Arts as well as local theater companies.
