Sarah Denholm is a lawyer in our Edmonton office with extensive experience representing a wide range of both individual and corporate clients in civil litigation. She is member of the bar in both Alberta and British Columbia, and able to assist clients in both jurisdictions.

In her practice, Sarah has been involved in various disputes, including managing, and assisting with claims for shareholder oppression, professional negligence, condominium disputes, breach of contract, builders’ lien claims, and estate disputes. Sarah has experience with both domestic and international arbitration, as well as mediation. She has appeared as counsel before the Provincial Court and Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench.  

Sarah came to Field Law in 2021, having articled and practiced commercial litigation at a boutique firm in Vancouver, British Columbia. As a law student, Sarah was employed by the Surface Rights Board of Alberta and the University of Alberta Health Law Institute. In 2017, Sarah co-authored a legal article with Professor Peter Sankoff and Brandyn Rodgerson that was published in the Queen’s Law Journal.

Outside the Office

Sarah enjoys watching stand-up comedy, going to local restaurants, and spending time with her family.
