Because of this funding, more people will receive the critical eye care they need, allowing them to work, learn and fully participate in life. This generosity is more than a donation — it’s an investment in sustainable, community-led solutions that ensure access to eye health.

For over 60 years, Operation Eyesight has worked alongside communities to declare them avoidable blindness-free, ensuring that vision loss is no longer a barrier to education, opportunity and a productive life. And because of this funding, this is becoming a reality also in Canada.
