Taylor Watt is a Calgary lawyer practicing in the areas of litigation and insurance defence litigation, with a focus on motor vehicle accidents and property disputes.
His broad general litigation practice includes debt recovery, contract disputes, transportation issues, and corporate/commercial disputes. Taylor has represented clients before the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Court of Queen’s Bench.
During law school, Taylor volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and the University of Calgary’s Student Legal Assistance. Taylor also worked as a research assistant, exploring topics ranging from alternative energy regulation to Canadian models of corporate governance. Following school, he worked as a strategic analyst for one of Canada’s largest grocery retailers.
Taylor has a Bachelor of Management, with a double major in Finance and Marketing, from the University of Lethbridge. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 2020.

Taylor is an avid sports fan who loves playing basketball and football. Taylor also enjoys jamming on the guitar, watching scary movies, reading non-fiction, or simply relaxing with his family.
