Rachel Weary joined Field Law as an Articling Student in 2019 and was called to the Alberta Bar in November 2019.
She completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta in 2018, receiving the Horace Harvey Gold Medal for highest standing in her graduating class. During law school, Rachel was a member of the multidisciplinary Landscapes of Injustice project, exploring the legal underpinnings of the dispossession of Japanese Canadians during World War II. After graduating, she clerked with the Court of Appeal of Alberta.

Rachel enjoys the opera and nineteenth-century women’s fiction.
