Brad McFadden is a commercial lawyer with a focus on natural resources matters. Brad has over 17 years experience advising clients on a range of natural resources related matters, including project development, due diligence, environmental compliance and other regulatory matters.

He has experience negotiating and drafting project and EPC agreements and negotiating renewable energy transactions including electricity/power off-take agreements and carbon credit sale agreements.

Brad has represented companies of all sizes (both public and private), as well as financial institutions and investment funds. Brad has also represented Indigenous Nations with respect to resource development and environmental protection on Traditional Lands.

In addition to his work in private practice, Brad also has extensive experience as in-house counsel to natural resource production companies, including as General Counsel to a mid-size private producer where he was responsible for all legal, regulatory and environmental matters.
