Katrina Haymond Appointed Queen’s Counsel

Congratulations to Katrina Haymond, who has received the honour of Queen's Counsel.
The Queen's Counsel designation is awarded to lawyers who are found to have made a significant contribution to the legal profession or public life in the province, as determined by the lieutenant governor in Council.
Katrina was called to the Alberta Bar in 1998 and practices in the area of administrative law, including professional regulation, privacy, policing, and labour and employment. She has presented at numerous workshops and seminars on topics of interest to clients, and has authored a number of resources to assist clients in fulfilling their statutory mandate. Katrina is committed to mentoring junior lawyers, and currently serves on the Policy Committee for the Canadian Bar Association.
