A. Danielle Bourgeois honoured by University of Alberta
Field Law lawyer and former Pandas hockey player inducted into the Sports Wall of Fame

A. Danielle Bourgeois, '05 BA, '09 LLB, will be inducted in the University of Alberta Sports Wall of Fame for her leadership in university sport. President David H. Turpin presented Danielle with her award on September 25, 2017 at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton. The Sports Wall of Fame honours athletes and builders who have made significant contributions to University of Alberta athletic programs.

The University says that from the moment Danielle stepped onto the ice with the Pandas hockey team in 1999, through her work as an assistant coach with Pandas hockey and the MacEwan University Griffins, and as an Edmonton lawyer, she has been a consummate leader and professional. In her rookie season, the Pandas captured their first of eight national championships and she led the team with 29 goals in 29 games. Danielle is regarded as one of the best women's hockey players in Canadian university history, earning Player of the Year, Female Athlete of the Year and team MVP honours multiple times. She finished her university career as the all-time Canadian Interuniversity Sport scoring leader.

Field Law congratulates Danielle for her achievements and this honour. Watch the video on Danielle produced by University of Alberta on how her dedication and hard work at university prepared her for engaging and working with clients at Field Law.
