One of our lawyers at Field Law is a former member of the Alberta Legislative Assembly serving for several years as the Minister of Education, Minister of Federal and Intergovernmental Affairs and Provincial Treasurer. He has extensive experience in both the legislative and executive branches of provincial government and has played key roles in influencing draft legislation and regulations affecting our clients. He knows which public service and elected officials play key roles in modifying policies and can assess the extent to which existing policies and programs can be amended. Also, as a former Chancellor of a prominent University he has insight into the inner workings of post secondary institutions.
