Expanding the Field
We are very pleased to announce the newest additions to our Intellectual Property and Technology Group. Neil Kathol, Richard Stobbe and Tom Malyszko will be joining Peter Collins, Tom O’Reilly, Wayne Logan and Lisa Statt Foy. The expanded group will continue to provide practical guidance to our clients in the management of their intellectual property
assets. Neil will lead our newly expanded team. Both Neil and Richard are Registered Trade-Mark Agents (including in Neil’s case, for United States registrations) and Tom is a Registered Trade-Mark and Patent Agent in both Canada and the United States....

He has extensive experience in both the legislative and executive branches of provincial government and has played key roles in influencing draft legislation and regulations affecting our clients. He knows which public service and elected officials play key roles in modifying policies and can assess the extent to which existing policies and programs can be amended. Also, as a former Chancellor of a prominent University he has insight into the inner workings of post secondary institutions.
