Laura joined the firm in 2011 after articling and working as a junior associate with a Calgary firm where she practiced in the areas of intellectual property, administrative law and general litigation. Laura is a member of the firm's intellectual property and general litigation groups. With a primary focus of intellectual property, Laura practices a broad range of technology and IP law with an emphasis on litigation wherein copyright, trademarks, trade secrets and designs as well as contractual, fiduciary and other matters are at issue. Laura studied biological sciences at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia before obtaining her Juris Doctor in 2009 from the University of Western Ontario. Laura was called to the bar in Alberta in 2010. |
