| Bonnie Bokenfohr is currently an associate at Field Law. Her primary area of practice is administrative law, with an emphasis on professional regulation, policing and privacy. Bonnie returned to private sector practice after serving for a number of years as the Director of Legal Services and general counsel to the Chief of Police of a municipal police service. In her role as Director, Bonnie led a team of in-house and outside lawyers in providing effective and efficient legal services in various legal matters including police discipline, privacy and access, labour and employment, human rights, and civil litigation. Bonnie graduated with her LLB from the University of Alberta in 2001. She articled at the Alberta Court of Appeal and Court of Queen's Bench and clerked with the Honourable Justice Louise Arbour at the Supreme Court of Canada. Bonnie has appeared before administrative tribunals and various levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada. |
