Anne is the Chair of the Firm's Privacy Practice Group. Anne maintains a practice primarily in privacy law, labour and employment law, and administrative law. Anne has advocacy experience representing clients in inquiries before the Alberta Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner, in labour arbitrations, in human rights and professional regulatory matters, as well as before all levels of courts in Alberta and the Supreme Court of Canada. She also serves as a legal advisor to various post-secondary institutions and other institutional clients, providing legal advice about privacy issues, institutional policy, employment issues, and administrative practice and procedure. Anne provides ongoing advice to a range of clients to guide them through the complex landscape of privacy policies, employment policies, outsourcing agreements, legislative compliance, and records management issues. She is also currently co-Chair of the Privacy Law Section, Alberta Branch, Canadian Bar Association. |
