Jason provides practical advice to employers with regard to all labour related matters including grievance arbitrations and Labour Relations Board hearings. He also provides advice regarding employment agreements, dismissals, and human rights complaints. As a litigator, Jason appears before arbitration panels, the Alberta and Canadian Labour Relations Boards, courts, and the Human Rights Commission. Having formerly worked at the Alberta Labour Relations Board, he is familiar with the Board's processes and procedures. Jason is a former chair of the Alberta Branch of the Canadian Bar Association's labour and employment section, and was the editor of Law Matters magazine, a CBA publication of legal issues of interest to Alberta practitioners. Jason remains involved on the Executive Council of the CBA, promoting issues including the integrity of the legal profession, and access to justice.
