Sally Andersen is a paralegal with over 40 years of experience in the legal profession including in the areas of insurance defence, construction and commercial litigation, and personal injury, working in large law firm environments as well as with a sole practitioner.

Throughout her career, Sally has shouldered a diverse range of responsibilities, demonstrating exceptional organizational and managerial skills. Her role includes overseeing and managing records in electronic databases, handling documents, and undertaking production, preparing court applications, and compiling records for clients, experts, and witnesses. She possesses a comprehensive understanding of the legal process, managing files seamlessly from the initial document gathering phase through to trial, ensuring a thorough and efficient workflow.

One of Sally's notable strengths lies in her ability to develop processes and precedents that enhance the efficiency of workflow, not only for herself but also for her colleagues. Her keen eye for detail, coupled with excellent organizational skills, allows her to prioritize and manage the interests of multiple lawyers while meeting tight deadlines.

Proficient in electronic databases and adept at utilizing various software programs in a paperless working environment, Sally stands out as a mentor to her colleagues. She is committed to sharing her knowledge and empowering others to work more effectively and efficiently.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sally has contributed to the legal education landscape as a Continuing Education Instructor at NAIT. She taught in the certificate program for Legal Secretarial Procedures in Litigation by preparing students for legal assistant duties in civil litigation practices.

Outside of the Office

Sally finds joy in spending quality time with her family and friends. She shares a passion for road trips and outdoor activities, including hiking, boating, and cycling, with her husband. A nature enthusiast, Sally enjoys daily hikes with her beloved poodle, Gracie, and embraces the beauty of animals and wildlife.
